i was for a bit last night and had some poor quality games. ive only had maybe 3-4 good ones. And my kill ratio was really good. Last night i was shooting this guy in the back and it had no effect on him at all.

i hate the quarry map...bu my favourite thing to on that map is to go into the warehouse with the missle launching truck thing and put a claymore under the stairs....without fail i get someone everytime.

Has anyone seen the clip of the guy getting the final kill with a throwing knife? Just as the counter gets to 2 seconds left he hurls a knife over a building and nails a player in the neck a good 100m away. Impressive stuff

I started using the throwing knife last night.

Loads of "blang!" into walls as my 'victim' turned and shot me.

I got MW2 last thursday. I thought I was going crap early because of my level and that i was sh*t. But I kept noticing that I've always got the lowest bar and when I look at the enemies kill cam. They seem to know exactly where I am but I can't see them looking straight at them. Also another prime example. I was sitting in a nice little corner with a shotgun. 2 dudes run past so I shoot them. From point blank range it took 2 full seconds for them to get hit and die.

It's pretty damn frustrating

Yeah...that's the lag issue that people (mainly Aussies and NZers) are having. We get flicked to American servers and everyone has a great connection except for us. Therefore we empty a clip into someone who isn't actually there and we get knifed etc.

The only way around it, until (hopefully) they fix this issue, is to play with Aussies. I've been holding my own with a really bad connection and last night played in a 'party' with a bunch of Aussies. Damn. It makes a difference. I actually won a few games.

I've heard if you put AUS as your clan you'll be put with more Aussies?? I'm going to try it in a sec. Just watched a youtube clip and my player moves 1/3 of the speed as the one in the clip .

Pretty sure that is not true, people just do it so that you can easily identify when you are in a game of Aussies.

Yeah it didn't work. All my games are single red bars .

They just throw you in random servers. It's best to meet up with a bunch of Aussies and play a private game.

Last night I had some great games with good connections and then this American entered the lobby and we all went "aaaargh" and he was made host with everyone else having a red dot connection.

I actually had a game with 2 yellow bars and had more kills then deaths. It was a miracle. I could actually sneak up on people without them knowing. I wonder what I could do with full green bars. The game really f**ked us Aussies over big time.

Seems odd that they dropped the "Local only" option from WaW.

Although that barely worked as well.

It's so frustrating. Last night i had a game when i got a 10 kill streak. Today i had games when i struggled to get any kills whatsoever.

The game is awesome, but the inconsistency is ruining it a bit for me.

Yeah. I was pleasantly surprised at my death bringing skills when playing with 4 green bars.

I played this morning with 1 red bar the whole time which I would expect with the yanks being awake. This arvo I have had some 2 yellow bar games and the improvement with just 1 bar is pretty big. Still no green games though. Maybe later tonight i might be able to get games with no yanks and have an even battle.

I only just got a PS3 and this is my first game playing online. So i'm pretty cut at how uneven it can be even though you pay for the same experience.

I was playing in the playlist Mosh Pit last night and getting green bars every game, so maybe people struggling to get greens should try that.

Well the two games are developed by different companies. Even so, it is surprising that the local only option does not exist - surely it is a no brainer?

Now I have no expertise in the area, but surely it is not that hard to create that sort of option?

I cannot understand why I'm such a noob at this game. Even when I get non-laggy games, I'm still sucking in 50% of games. I always did really, really well in COD4 and WaW, but in this one, everyone seems to still have the edge over me lol.
