Just wait until you work the maps out.

I've been playing Free for All and know all the maps inside out. I'm niot 'owning' in any sense but I hold my own.

Last night I started playing some team deathmatches in the other maps and sweet jesus I was like a n00b all over again. I'd move BAM! Shot in the face. I'd respawn BAM! Shot in the face. I'd hide in a bin BAM! Shot in the face.

Then I unleashed my bezerkatron class and annoyed the warfags by running around the map with my akimbo smg's and throwing knives.

Yep, this is what happens to me. I dunno, the game seems to favour camping a lot more, where players can just sit there with their heartbeat sensor or thermal sight, which is bad for me as I like to run around like crazy. Although it also seems like knifing is a lot easier too.

You can counter those heartbeat sensors with the cold blooded perk...but yeah, people seem to be camping a lot but that is to be expected. The commando perk means people have a longer melee reach. I use it for my bezerkatron class.

I also think that there are a lot of people who have played CoD4 and World at War who are now gods at this type of gameplay. The killstreaks sh*t me to tears..I can barely move because of choppers and harriers.

The one thing I do like is the ability to steal someone's care package. I reckon I have stolen more packages than I have earned myself.

I am sometimes not a popular man.

A good tactic I cottoned on to last night was guys getting a care package and getting it dropped in a nice area and then camping and waiting for people (read: me) to come along and try to steal it.

Ha! No.

I almost did last night because I see one fall from the sky and get all excited. Instead I stood back and covered the guy while he opened it. I did pick one up later in a game though because my team mate was killed waiting for it.

When I say killed...it dropped from the chopper onto his head and he died. Serious. Don't stand on your flare while waiting for the thing to come. I was watching him and was ready to nail any enemy players that came our way when BAM! The big box goes smack, right onto his head.

Funniest death ever.

You get a bonus if you kill an enemy with you crate i think if you get the last death with it or something...

nah i thought the cold blooded perk was only for UAV, Thermal and air support etc. I think ninja or something is the one for heart sensor.

I have improved alot this week ....i got 27 kills and only 8 deaths the other night with like 6 assists ...highest streak is 11....meh done that a few times but cant seem to get more then that. When im versing guys that are around my rank (50 -60) or lower i hold my hold and average about 10-15 kills and less then 10 deaths....then you get the guys that are into their 70's.....they just PWN my ass like its nobodies business.

i got hit with a crate....it was on the estate map and i was in the main house....heard the chopper ran out the front door and CRACK landed right on my head.

I had some laggy games last night but finally found a good game with some Aussies. I don't 'pwn' but I hold my own.

Planting a claymore right next to a crate is fun...

I also played a game on that Estate map with about 10 Prestiging bastards. They were all snipers too. I seriously lay on the ground for 10 minutes. Everytime I moved I died.

I finished the game with 1 kill (as I was crawling to find some cover I crawled on top of a sniper, so I stabbed him) and 32 deaths.

Biggest pasting ever.

I just had my first multiplayer experience with this on PC. Got into a game and was going well, I'm going to assume the game had a few noobs but I was level 1 and they were as high as 30-40 ... unless I had a better connection than them. Anyway, played for about 3 minutes then the whole thing got interrupted saying "Host migration", then it died out. So I turfed it, might try again another time.

Is anyone else getting the same maps over and over again? today was the first time ive played rust! I keep getting terminal, afghan, fevola and high rise.

I like Rust, reminds me of shipment but with a bit of variety.

heartbeat sensors are the bomb, especially in free for all.

I find best points are in Domination.
