Yep I'm confident he was injured through lack of effort and desire. Brought it upon himself. Nothing to do with age or adapting to first grade.

Quinlan does not have the defensive ability to play hooker.

Well it finally happened! Kings gone!!

Interesting to see what Boyd will do when Bennett eventually heads to Cowboys next year albeit 5 years after he had agreed to a contract before he came to Dragons!!

Cowboys need a fullback.......Bowen gone to Wigan....bets that Boyd follows?

He was a victim of bad timing with Rein getting the jump & a contract extension during a period when King was mostly injured. Once they re-signed Garvey this year that was the end for King at the Dragons. They also have Cook as a backup, but as you say Quinlan is another option for hooker / utility on bench ( as he'll probably be behind Widdop & Williams to start the 2014 season as our halves combination )

Good luck to him.....that's just the way players move around these days...there's very few players that remain loyal to one club now .....lets hope they get more time out on the field from him than we did.....

King goes to a club with 2 other hookers already in the rotation and without a coach...

says a lot for the Dragons at the moment....

Maybe King knows somethng we don't. Maybe he knows who the next Cowboys coach is going to be and is very happy about that.

King states today in an interview that going to the Cowboys will make him a better player. ........
He was convinced to switch by Tariq Sims saying they have a great roster. .........

Good news is looks like Damien Cook will remain with the dragons for the 2014 season......
Then will be poached by rival club in 2015.........:crazy:

Two converted halves who were ahead of two other players who are specialist 9s.King is comfortably the most talented of them all, mind you that would be the case if he stayed as well.

Really? Playing next to Thurston and getting quick play-the-balls from Scott, Tamou etc will make him a better player? And he needed Tariq Sims to tell him that? Genius!

Glad Cook will be staying.
