I like Vidot, but honestly Dell could talk up AIDS, and make it sound like a "good bloke"...

very good authority - almost certain he'll go to the Cowboys with the big attraction being the chance to start

He would have a chance of starting here too if he wasn't injured all the time. He is a good player when fit however.

Too bad, so sad...I'd like to see him excel but with the options we have, we can't afford to be paying overs for an extra hooker to sit on the sidelines...

Still backing Garvey to be our best hooker within a year or 2, and I'd love to see Cook as our bench utility - as quick and skillful as Quinlan IMO, not as good as support play but I think better in defence!

On fat I was listening to the NSW cup prelim on the ABC last weekend and heard comments regarding Matt Groat. "Wow! Is that Matt Groat? He's certainly found a good paddock."

Vidot is defensively illerate
He seems unable to read play when defending and is also out of position a lot in attack
Destructive ball runner but a 50:50 proposition at best unless he gets some good coaching which is unlikely under the current regime at the Dragons

The St George Illawarra Dragons have today agreed to release hooker Cameron King from the final year of his contract.
King sought an early release from his contract to take up a two year contract with the North Queensland Cowboys beginning next season.

"I have really enjoyed my time at the Dragons and am very appreciative that everything the Club and fans have done for me," said King.

"The Cowboys have given me the chance to play some more regular NRL and an additional year so I am looking forward to this and am thankful to the Dragons to allow me the chance to take up this opportunity".

King played 17 NRL games for the Dragons since making his NRL debut in 2010.

Dragons CEO Peter Doust thanked King for his contributions to the Dragons and indicated that competition for the hooker positions for 2014 would be a tough battle during the pre-season.

"Cameron is a talented player who has been a positive contributor to our club both on and off the field and we are thankful for his services to our Club," said Dragons CEO Peter Doust. "The Cowboys have presented him with a good opportunity and we wish him well for the future.

"With Cameron departing we intend to provide an opportunity for players like Craig Garvey and Damien Cook who both made their NRL debut's this year to battle with Mitch Rein over the off-season for the hooker positions next season".

Its a shame to see him go. Hopefully Garvey can live up to expectations. I fear the club are going to regret this decision.
