since they were later brought back then they shouldve bounced back straight away.

The All Blacks might have been back playing but have the fans forgiven the NZRU in the first place . It takes time . Just like the Superleague war did .

Yes that is true LeagueXIII and as you and I both know, the 2008 RLWC with all the TV deals and State government backing and sponsers has already made money. The ARL/NRL are not going to lose 30 Million like the NZRFU.

You are implying that the RWC will lose money... it wont it will make its usual hundreds of millions... its only due to the size of the Stadia that the host nation will lose money... the NZRFU accepted this so the NZ public can see a world cup.... every game will sell out and they will still lose money....
