Just had an idea. What If they made Mini ans Corner joint Captains? I know its not something we usually do, but heck, its not the worst result in the world. So having them both as captain is sort of a way so that Cords doesn't have all the pressure on him, and has Minis experience to draw from.

That?s actually not a bad idea.

I don?t think Cordner is ready to be the captain yet. He doesn?t have much experience with the media and it is hard to imagine at his young age that he commands respect from the rest of the side. Mini does command respect and he might just be the mentor Cordner needs and at least this way the club can give Mini his last year captaincy.

I found the aubo to starting centre the best bit. Been such a shining light there for us this year as well. All because he runs good lines.

Now the seasons done and dusted I gotta say the Cordner to captain call now seems a tad rash.

Am not here to troll but to make a serious comment. Cordner is a superb idea. He's just what your club needs to make a break with the past and change the current culture. Young, vocal, a natural leader, and from what I've heard, well-spoken. It's exactly why I advocated Burgess as our captain last year.

Unless Aubs plays out of his skin in preseason, I really doubt he'll be the captain, mainly because of his sub-par form at the backend of last season and the competition for Back Row. He may not even get a starting spot.

FTR - I don't see anyone bashing RTS in this thread. So I don't see why you're trying to defend him. Obviously he'll be taking Mini's spot at fullback, when that time comes TR will make that call. Stop being a whiney grub.
