Overnight in the latest round of the Coral Challenge cup saw Crusaders V Crusaders with only one winner, amatuer side Thatto Heath Crusaders defeated the North Wales Crusaders 16-14, a win to North Wales would have given the profile of League in Wales a boost but alas it was not to be.
Well done to Thatto Heath proving that on any give day the Underdog can prevail, only have the scores at the moment so no match report, in the other game Featherstone easily accounted for Swinton.

    Round 5:

    Super League bottom 4 entrants:
    London
    Hull KR
    Salford
    Leeds

    Amateur:
    Thatto Heath

    League One:
    Workington
    Doncaster

    Championship:
    Featherstone
    Dewsbury
    Leigh
    Halifax
    York
    Rochdale
    Widnes
    Bradford
    Batley

Expansion watch... North Wales bombs out to an amateur side while London join in the next round. London and Catalans the only 'outsiders' remaining in the draw.

Can London shock the establishment again or Catalans go back to back?
    Doubt it :)

RL wouldn't exist in Canada without Eric Perez. He had to come up with the concept, find sponsors & ownsers to bankroll it and then convince the RFL to let them in. Without Perez the Wolfpack doesn't exist - you can't say the same about the RFL.

What's the ground record at Thatto Heath?, what's the capacity?, could be on the way to be broken.

It's literally just a field with no stands. Expect the game to either get flipped to Dewsbury or St Helens offer Langtree Park.

RL existed in Canada before Perez became involved.

Very true, but it wouldn't be at the level it is now without him.

Is that RL or Canadian RL because Canadian RL seems to have gone backwards IMO.

    RL in general.

If we are talking Canadian RL then yes, it definately has gone backwards since Perez stepped away to focus on the Worfpack.

Surely there must be some positive spin off as a result of the Toronto Wolfpack for Canadian rugby league in general! ? If not that's so wrong and illogical! ?

Yes, the profile of the game has definately increased in Canada thanks to the Wolfpack.
