JT was an excellent coach and would have been a sensation if we had kept him.
In saying that Its obvious that he couldnt come back with Fitznazi in charge.
Love to see Daniel Anderson given a go.

yep, he will be in the game for a while now, this year is just a learning experience for him. Just remember Brian Smith also had many lean years at Illawarra, Parramatta and St George.

The loss of Wing at the start of the year really hurt them, they haven't recovered, and i'm certainly not looking forward to playing them.

Stay positive Stagger.... Cardinal you better be right :x

I keep an open mind with most posts that are written but I don't know what to make of this one, If Tony came up to me and point blankely stated that he changed his mind and will sign a contract with us tomorrow, i still wouldn't be putting my arse on the line in here, but that's just me...there's plenty of **** I've heard over the years that I haven't posted and that's just the way I am but Cardinal [geeing up or not] has taken a different path and all power to him.

I'll sit back and see what eventuates with interest.

Mate Im pretty good friends with ***** (souths Player) (Will PM you if you really want to know) and he tells me that Russell Crowe issues instructions from the stand regarding what lines to run etc... annoys the bloody hell out of the players at both games and at training.
They cant tell him to butt out obviously but just because he is a movie star he thinks he knows everything about the game as well.
In fact I am reliably informed that he offered to take over as head coach but was talked out of it.
Great actor - huge ego.

As I said - a huge thing to say. Just as long as he doesnt arc up if it all turns to sh%t and we really give it to him :x
His reputation is on the line :p

If this is true, on the one hand I would be very, very happy.

But on the other, I think Manly would have every right to be ticked off tbh.

I dont mind if we resign williams. but i think we should resign either him or jon mannah letting both go would be a waste esp now that the player we were chasing (ennis)is off the market.

Why would Manly be ticked?? Their not the ones who have invested big $$$$$$ into this kid since he was 13 or 14.

Obviously I am Blue and Gold forever to the very core of my soul, and obviously we invested a lot of time and money into Tony.

However, technically, Tony did agree to sign with them and, whilst he's entitled to change his mind (it is his career and future at stake, after all), Manly, in my opinion, have the right to be a bit peeved.

That's all I'm saying - if he sticks with us, I'll still feel it, but I'm not saying I care lol.

Very unlikely to happen guys don't get your hopes up.
He may have said to someone he wanted to stay, but he has signed the deal with Manly for much better money than he could have stayed for.

Im not too worried about how Manly feel.
Its designed to be a cooling off period.
Maybe if it comes back and bites Manly then they will learn to not parade a signing until it is registered with the NRL.

Don't get me wrong - I agree with the cooling off period and I don't sympathise with Manly.

All I am saying is...If it does come true...That's gotta hurt.
