SuperCoach and the players have no-one to blame but themselves. It was a poor showing, and SuperCoach and the players should be happy that Farah played almost all of the second half, or else the score would have been worse. They should too be lucky that they only lost by 4. The season starts in two weeks, the defence was poor and plenty of errors were made. A few changes are also needed in the team. Firstly, Aitken-Nightingale should be replaced by Lomax-Mann. As much as I like Nightingale he has definitely had his time, he bombed quite a few tries. And as for Aitken, just really poor in defence. I feel a bit flat, it’s a trial game, and I’d like to think they’ll get their act together. And another question why was Joel Thompson let go? Luciano or Tariq haven’t been able to fill his void at all! In conclusion, a very weak performance. At the end of the day, it comes down to this wonderful coaching staff that this club has employed. Credit goes out to Hunt, Graham, Frizell, Ah Mau, Dufty, Lomax, Vaughan, De Belin and even MacDonald, who mainly tried hard in the match. We live in hope that the season is good.

I should not say this but we are going to really miss JT.
Luc played himself back to the lower grade. I don't think he is first grade starter.
Lomax look good.
Overall a disappointing effort. JDB, Vaughan and Frizell just awesome.
Graham and Hunt great as well.
The rest average. Nene was better.
On that form it's going to be a long season.

Well come to a conclusion not much is going to happen again this year. Bad habits again taught to these players because Mary MacPrice doesn't know any better. A couple of crucial points , again we don't move up off our line we run sideways and backpedal in D , Bunnies were sprinting off the line and we couldn't move the ball. We again run 1 out too much, Widdop still running like a crab , sideways. Hunt needs to have his hands on the ball all the time. I would say him and James Graham are thinking what the f**k did I sign here for. Lomax has to be in the centres with Lafia maybe Aitken on the wing for Flo, he's too slow. Long season ahead I think, will be a contest to see who gets the sack first , MacPrice or Hook at Penrith . Betting is Griffin just ahead in the market.
Why would anyone pick Aitken after his defence once again.

Ruck defence poor. Players like Cook will rip us apart.

And any team with fast backs will again make us look pedestrian. We have a proper winger tonight we win that game.

And we will really miss Thommo.

Fair call but answer me this.. Who in the backine impressed?

Lafai can fall over for a try... Flo had a shocker. Aitken didnt impress. Dufty tried hard, but was pushed off on a one on one tackle that led to a try and dropped a bomb. I feel too much pressure is placed on Dufty.. yes he has speed but made some crucial errors today. Lomax, not enough time to judge. Only on todays game, Nene had a real dig, and I was super critical of his performances last year.

Our backline is far from set. Lomax may come good, time will tell.
Mann should be s cert to start but i bet you he wont.

Very disappointing effort today.

Let’s be serious - Dragons should have won that game by at least 10! Nightingale bombed 2 tries, Lafai passes the ball
To the sideline when he was half a metre over the tryline.. 18 Points just there!
I’m not worried.
Lomax is a gun and the starting right centre
Mann for Nightingale if we want to be serious
Sele into the 17
Simms to start
Leilua to Newtown

Mate our defence was paper thin. .. Yes we bombed tries... They carved us up and we had a penalty count of what 11-5 ? ... Our backline is far from determined, but if we defend like that we are fooked.

Would you believe, that’s a pretty smart analysis there, Maxwell. ( sorry for my Get Smart analogy )

The Penrith fans must really detest Hook if he’s shorter odds than McGregor.

I was really hoping we’d be in a better frame of mind as a playing group but lm seeing the same old tricks by the team.

Extremely disappointing overall performance.

What can we expect against the Broncos?

We can only hope better days ahead.

Disappointed that Luc did not take the opportunity presented to him , alas I have overrated him . Does have the skill , but as we all realise he must be adept in all facets of play , including defence to be a successful 1st grader .

The bunnies made the most of their chances , with the relatively unknowns making a good show - they took the bit between their teeth . Some of our own were just too damn sluggish, I won't comment upon the tactics or lack of , but one or two of our fellas need a good boot up the ass and come to understand , that if they are pulling on a Dragons jersey , then play in it with pride .

Trial or not the writing is all but on the wall , the players need to regroup in the next couple of weeks and turn these lack lustre displays completely around so as to give us some real hope for season 2018 .

A very poor showing.
Both teams will miss the Last Eight. Lafai was pathetic and Leilua is a joke and looks overawed. If Dufty had not been there there would have
been no excitement. There is no drive once De Belin, Graham and
Vaughan go off. The centres were woeful.

Lots of room for improvement but no reason to panic just yet.
A bit scrappy and lacklustre but got better as the game went on. It looked like the coach told the boys not to offload for at least the first 60 minutes. 3 tries, 3 more bombed plus a couple of missed opportunities and 5 penalties within kicking distance that we tapped and ran.
Main concerns - Leilua's defence and our complete inability to punch our way out of our red zone.
I really want Leilua to succeed but he was very ordinary tonight. I still don't know why any team would let a player like Joel Thompson just walk away. Likely be Sims to that side and Host onto the bench.

The Bunnies had no trouble pinning us inside our 30, we had no-one capable of punching the line and getting us out there except when Sele and Latimore came on. And too often it was our wingers and halves trying to do the heavy work there, ridiculous. That's where we'll miss Dugan and Packer.

Also too many mistakes and penalties but hopefully it was heat and rust.
On the up side Debelin and Frizell are awesome, Sele, Widdop, Hunt, McInnes and Dufty all looked good and should all make a great contribution this year. Lomax will push for a spot soon enough I think.

Lots to work on.

Why in the actual fk are they doing one out running up the middle, with a man up and 2 minutes left on the clock.

Stupidity infuriates me more than anything else and this team is rife with it.
I was saying the exactly the same thing to my son. This is under 8’s mentality. Of all the things to come out of the game, the way we played when the bunnies had a player to in the bin MUST BE ADDRESSED!!! Ahhhh!!!!
