These guys are so strong I'd take one for the team and exchange bodily fluids with the Burges mum just to heat my hands in a sample for genetic testing.

Wests Tigers should take a serious look at Tom Burgess. He is excellent quality and you never know, he might influence one of his brothers to come over in time.

He would turn our team around. Imagine a straight swap for Blair.

I think it would take more than a front rower we need a complete rebuild. Actually with Galloway back front row is our stronger potion Woods, Galloway, Farah.

Centres are average, halves terrible an backrow new cup standard.

Front row is fine. We just need a dominant forward. Our halves to me will sort themselves out as there are plenty of options. The backrow is a worry but play a big dominant forward there and we will look a lot better.

Centres are a concern but I think that will sort itself out. Richards, Nofo, Koro, Tedesco, Reddy, Ayshford and Simona all have to fight for spots out on the park.

Front row is suspect. Galloway is injured frequently and Woods needs support. He is shouldering the weight of the whole pack most of the time.

Blair, Groat, Ava, BMM, Buchanan and maybe Sue could all fill in at prop. I do agree though that Galloway being injured really affects us.

BMM hasnt come as good as I would have liked, and I hope Groat comes good after what Sheens did to him, I will reserve judgment on Ava for now but hope Buchanon and Sue kick on, they are playing well. Blair needs to be forced to work, and prop is the place to do it, but he is a shit front rower imo.

BMM looks best in tight. I'd play him at prop and hopefully he gets it together. If not it will be the end of his career. Ideally he would have filled that wide running backrow position but he just seems to stuff up out wide too much. I think we have enough backrowers to put a decent pack on the field as well. The thing is our backrow is basically ordinary. We need a gun there. George Burgess to 2nd row would be awesome. If not him why not SBW. The thing is we need a player like that.

I dont get the people who say we are right for props. Say what you like about Sheens (my opinion, he did a decent job to start, but stayed on too long), but he said himself (then proceeded not to do anything about it): "you need six first grade props in a side, two on the field, two on the bench and two suspended."

In my view,, that's two dominant props, two benchies and two up and comers. I reckon we are at least two short. Galloway and Woods are a great starting roster, but seriously, how many games did they start this year?

I have faith in Potter,I think he knows what we need and it is not aging small backrowers although Halatau might be seen as Farah's shadow and insurance for Fulton and Anasta

Anyone else hearing the rumour that WT's have signed Reni Maitua???

I posted in another thread that I rated Maitua and thought he still had something to offer, but than realised he is 31. The rumour going around is that Wests signed him for 3 years, this is where we we dismiss it as exactly that, a rumour.

Surely no team in their right mind will sign a 31 yo for 3 years.

How long did we sign Richards for?
