Only just saw the tackle by Barnes and tbh I don't blame Matic for the way he reacted. Was a terrible tackle and I've seriously have no idea how Barnes stayed on the pitch.

Granted Matic shouldn't react like that as the Ref really has no choice to show a red but given the tackle he just copped its understandable he cracked it.

Imo, if he plays Ramires and Fabregas as DMs/Pivots, we'll be picked apart in short order. Ramires isn't a DM, and doesn't hold his position. Fabregas isn't either, and is slower than me. If Mikel is still injured, then Mourinho has to come up with another alternative. Maybe it's Ake, or maybe he'll change the shape and go with 3 CBs, and compact the midfield? I don't know really - that's why Jose gets the big bucks.

I saw a stat yesterday showing the results of all our games after a UEFA game on Thursday Night.

They are all the game we lost to teams in the bottom half of the ladder including last weekend's draw with Spammers and only one win which was against Soton.

Not a good record.

It's a Cup Final though anything can happen.

You guys are capable. If you manage to play it through the middle like you did in January then we will be ripe for the picking. The way you've managed to build your game around those slicing runs from midfield is impressive. When its on, its good to watch.

If we can cut out that part of your game and if we are able to cut out the passing channels to Eriksen and Kane, we should be able to win, but I'm not super confident. You do not have a Drogba upfront who will hold up the ball or a Sterling who can run deep, so you HAVE to play like that. This is why I am desperate for Mikel to play. We really need someone who can shield those passes from reaching Kane.

Going to need to be about 5 beers deep to deal with the nerves. The Pig should provide a decent atmosphere.

Eriksen has been absolute gash in his last 2 games, he is still very young and hasn't matured into a consistent player yet.

I don't expect a repeat of our last game against you guys.

Has it improved? We used to go to the Crown in the early 00's for regular games and the Aussie Rules club in the cross for the Cup Finals. 00 and 02 were huge nights.
