Anyone else agree that the prize money for the minor premiership should be more then $100 000?

I couldn't agree more. $100k is nothing. Bulldogs made $88k last week from merchandise alone. The NRL offered St Geroge up to $250k to move our game next week.

$100k is roughly equivilant to 5000 tickets to a home match. Thats not a prize worthy of fighting for half the year. That money is usually split between the 25 players in the squad and the coach, et cetera. So it ends up say $5000 for a player.

Bit stupid NRL.

Pretty sure Scott is a saints junior who went to cronulla before coming back home. You must be taking the piss though... You're a bulldogs fan, look at the amount of signings your team has made last year and for next year

At the end of the day I couldn't care less about the minor premiership, it's the big one that matters and it's an open race. Or have you given up on your team already?

I dont care bout the minor premiership either and i do congratulate you guys for winning it , im a realist i dont believe we can win it without kimmorley , i believe our best chance is if we play newcastle next weekend where we have our best chance of winning ( no Newcastle im not saying we are certainties ) to get the weekend off. I still believe there are 5 or 6 sides who could realistically win it , all it takes is 4 weeks of form and a bit of luck , i think the people who are writing manly off are stupid

Very foolish of people to write off the Bulldogs. I also don't think they can win it without Kimmorley, but I think they would beat Knights or Parramatta. They'd get a week off, & Kimmorley would be a strong chance of playing in the preliminary.

I think all teams confirmed of a position in the 8 as of now (Dragons, Bulldogs, Titans, Storm, Manly, Broncos, Parrmatta) could all realistically win the comp. Newcastle/Penrith however will just be making up the numbers.
