One of the best games of all time. If you appreciate top quality RL, then this is compulsory viewing. Big stink between Crocker and Poore from memory that carried on into last years origin.

Something a bit different - a lot of people bring up "the new coach factor" as a reason why a team will win, well here's 3 examples ( can't get away from the Storm ! )

Fox Sports is giving you the chance to play program director, by choosing which classic rugby league match you want to see each week on Chooseday Night Football.

This week, we offer a chance to see one of three matches that feature replacement coaches.

Cast your vote in the poll at the bottom of this page.

Select your option in the poll at the bottom of the page, and the match with the most votes by 11pm on Monday, April 26, will go to air on Fox Sports 2HD and Fox Sports 2 at 7.30pm (EST) the following day, Chooseday.

So get voting and chune in next Chooseday to watch one of the following memorable rugby league games.

Warriors v Canberra, round 13, 2004
The Warriors looked set to be contenders again after three years of finals football, including a grand final appearance. But they sacked coach Daniel Anderson after their 58-6 thrashing by the 2002 premiers Sydney Roosters, replacing him with Tony Kemp - with the team sitting in 15th place. The Raiders had started the season well, but a recent form slump had seen them slip outside the top eight.

South Sydney v Melbourne Storm, round 14, 2004
Souths had sacked Paul Langmack only two days before Daniel Anderson's departure from the Warriors, replacing him with Premier League coach Arthur Kitinas as they took on a team they had only beaten once. The Storm earlier this season had inflicted a 50-4 thrashing as the Rabbitohs compiled an eight-game winless stretch. A 16-0 deficit after 15 minutes suggested another unhappy day for The Burrow.

Sydney Roosters v Cronulla, round 18, 2007
A 56-0 drubbing at the hands of Manly marked the third consecutive loss for the Roosters, and coach Chris Anderson resigned 48 hours later. Needing some inspiration, the Tricolours appointed premiership-winning skipper Brad Fittler to take the reins in a caretaker role. Fittler's deeds on the field were legendary, but history shows this didn't always translate to success off the field. The stats were in his favour, though, as the Sharks had lost their previous four against the Roosters.

I loved the first half comment from Chief with last night’s 2005 Tiger v Bulldogs game. “If the Tigers throw the ball around, the Bulldogs will….”

How young did the Tigers players look when they flashed their pics up at the start?

Benji, Liam Fulton and Chris Heighington looked about 10 years old.

This week is Golden point.

One of the choices is the Rabbits V Tigers fiasco from 2004. I have no desire to relive that game at all

With what should be a top MNF game between Manly & Parra coming up, thought these were worth a look. I don't remember much about the first 2 apart from Hodges debut. The 3rd was a real thriller though.

Fox Sports is giving you the chance to play program director, by choosing which classic rugby league match you want to see each week on Chooseday Night Football.

This week, we offer a chance to see one of the classic Monday Night Football clashes of the past.

Cast your vote in the poll at the bottom of this page.

Select your option in the poll at the bottom of the page, and the match with the most votes by 11pm on Monday, May 17, will go to air on Fox Sports 2HD and Fox Sports 2 at 8.30pm (EST) the following day, Chooseday.

Roosters v Knights, round nine, 2000
The clash of champion playmakers Brad Fittler & Andrew Johns mirrored this game, full of quality. Their contributions were significant, but Roosters second-rower Craig Fitzgibbon's involvement in a number of incidents was crucial to the outcome. After being taken from the field early in the 2nd half with a suspected broken jaw, his return to the game was surprising & courageous. Keep an eye out for opposing 19-year-old wingers Timana Tahu & Anthony Minichiello.

Raiders v Broncos, round 14, 2000
State of Origin commitments resulted in a heavily depleted Brisbane side travelling to Canberra. The competition leaders were without 7 Queenslanders & this presented an ideal opportunity for their replacements to impress coach Wayne Bennett. One player on debut was Justin Hodges, who became the youngest ever to appear in 1st grade for the Broncos. Could the Raiders capitalise on this & move up the ladder?

Storm v Warriors, round 25, 2001
With both teams chasing a spot in the finals, this was an intense contest. The Warriors knew that one point would be enough to secure a top-8 spot for the first time in the club's history. After 4 straight victories, they were close to completing an incredible turnaround from 12 months earlier when the club was nearly broke. A late try in round 24 had kept Melbourne's campaign on track, but the Storm would need a big comeback in this clash after trailing 16-0 midway through the first half.
