Next week's choices--The theme is dual internationals
Mat Rogers
Cronulla Sharks v Newcastle Knights
(Round 11, 2000)
Mat Rogers played in the NRL for seven years before he switched to union, spending five years with New South Wales Waratahs and playing 14 Tests for the Wallabies. He returned to the NRL in 2007, with Gold Coast Titans, and has now chalked up 179 first-grade appearances. In this vital game against Newcastle, he matched his father's club points-scoring record. The Knights had tasted success only once from five road trips in 2000, and they were a point clear of the Sharks in fourth place.
Wendell Sailor
Brisbane Broncos v St George Illawarra Draons)
(First semi-final, 2001)
Wendell Sailor's rugby league career with the Broncos lasted nine years, during which time he played in three grand final-winning teams and represented Queensland and Australia. His five-year stint in rugby union was a combination of success and controversy. He earned 37 Test caps with the Wallabies but was suspended for two years after a positive drugs test. He made his NRL comeback at the age of 33 for St George Illawarra against Brisbane. Ironically, his last victory with the Broncos occurred against the Dragons, and he left an in-Dell-ible mark.
Timana Tahu
Newcastle Knights v Melbourne Storm
(Round 8, 2002)
Timana Tahu played in a premiership-winning side and represented New South Wales and Australia during his first NRL campaign. After a combined total of nine seasons with Newcastle and Parramatta, he surprised many pundits by changing codes and signing with New South Wales Waratahs. He enjoyed limited success in his two seasons in rugby, but he did become the 46th dual international. In 2010, he will rejoin the Eels. In this clash, he displayed the try-scoring prowess that has seen him score 102 times from 143 games in the NRL.

I'll be voting for Tahu!
