2002 Round 24, Sharks v Cowboys
David Peachey was the type of player who could switch from casual to cavalier in the blink of an eye. Equally dangerous sparking or finishing off a move, he scored the fifth hat-trick of his career in this game.

2008 Round 1, Storm v Warriors
Billy Slater collected multiple individual awards after many spectacular displays throughout 2008. In a sign of things to come, he scored a first half hat-trick during the season opener.

I used to love watching the Raiders in the early 90s, team of champions, Big Mal, Daley, Stuart, Clyde, Nadruku, Mullins.

That Knights jersey is 1,000,000 times better than the crap they're running around in this year.

Mullins in 94 was something else. A real pity he never quite reached the same heights after that.

I think that's a little unfair. If it weren't for Super League he probably would have played a lot more rep footy, he was certainly playing well enough.

Stuart's long passing games was something to behold, that one late in the game to the left was superb, just looped over Russell Wyer and Wiki walked it in.

Agreed, couldve played more tests and Origins but was still the same player.

I believe in 1996 he got back into the Origin side after SL players were allowed to play rep footy and was outstanding.

In a first for the premiership competition, this encounter was played in snow. Despite the unique circumstances, it was a quality contest involving players who overcame frostbite with halftime showers.

I hope they show a bit of the pre-game, I recall Sean Garlick getting hit with a snowball by a fan whilst on air. Classic stuff.

Yeah, that was funny....even though it was obviously a set-up. I seem to remember the kids who threw the snowballs didn't exactly sneak up behind Sean Garlick.

I don't think the fans got into enough though. They could've started pelting the kickers when they were lining up shots at goal. I remember seeing a few NFL games from New York and Philadelphia when fans started tossing snow at players and / or officials.
