having managed indigenous Australians, my experience is that you build their confidence through showing faith in them, not by singling them out for criticism and punishing them. Considering Kearney's heritage, I'm surprised that he may not have an understanding of that as Maori and Polynesians are similar in some ways. I know many people will say dropping him is the answer and it may work with some players, but I hope Chrissy is ok. I've seen plenty of Indigineous people suffer due to a lack of understanding of their cultural differences.

Excellent post. Well said, you clearly understand the situation better than most.

i'm sorry, but SK has his own head shoved so far up his own orifice, its just not funny anymore

but, umm, yeah, having McGuire play halfback will certainly solve the crisis of him having to play as an extra backrower when he comes on.....wow, way to strengthen and value-add to the team and really sure-up one position just to near-cripple another.....(Note: This comment contains a large dose of sarcasm).

It also contains a large dose of dickhead.

Why? I think PouPou makes more logical sense on here than anybody else.
If you are looking for a physche patient look no further than Casper.

Suity

There's no challenge finding Psych stuff with Casper - he'd be the first to tell you that!

Picture to demonstrate the point please Casper

Don't take this the wrong way but why would you make the effort to tell me that here, in a public forum?

Just more pointscoring in some bullshit forum war? Don't take it the wrong way. Maybe you should get your 'colleague' that is happy to work for free (unless he/she is an amateur psychologist that just does it as a hobby) to run a profile on bartman. I've lost count of the number of times he's gone out of his way to criticise former soldiers.

Good luck with your 'puzzle'.

Ok so the 'former soldiers' issue is a sore point? Why?

Its just that I've noticed that of all the people who post here, the most aggressive person on the forum is you. That's not a criticism, its just an observation. I only come here because I'm an Eels fan, and for a long period of time I just couldn't work out why you'd bother being so hostile with other forum users. After all very few people here have actually met, we share something in common (the Eels) and its just a forum. I'm not saying that you don't make good points on rugby league at times, but the way you respond to people on the forum is unusual - even by internet standards.

I'm thinking of doing interdisciplinary research on offensive posts and tweets and you just strike me as an obvious case study.

What a joke.

A half fit, down on confidence Sandow is still a much, much better option than Casey Maguire. This is just crazy - it really is.

This is actually a great point. I'm also deeply baffled by Kearney's approach to management. Its not just with Sandow. The way he's approached Poore, Shackleton, Burt etc is odd. The cultural sensitivity point is important. Its weird that Kearney can't see it.

Yeah, fancy a coach dropping players for poor form, or.......
Do you really think that if Shackton played for Melbourne and he called Bellamy a f**kwit on Twitter, that he'd be playing first grade?

Get Ifreak to give him a call. :)

I've never claimed to know or met him.

Maybe poo poo is the go. According to you, he's the most knowledgeable person on these forums. And that is really saying something......about you anyway.

Shackleton's tweet is more likely to be a symptom of the problem rather than the problem itself. After all, how many games was Lasalo given before he was dropped?

I'm not seeing how Burt's form was that bad that he warranted being dropped. Our team definitely needed his experience in a few of the games we lost.

I'm not against a coach dropping players for poor form. But the way Kearney uses players is odd. After all, McGuire has just gone from being a mostly redundant backrower to our halfback.
