Reece Williams? The same bloke who let Nathan Merritt and Peter Cusack stroll through untouched in Rd3?

Seven players from the Sharks? They are 7th. Souths are 5th and have no-one. Disgraceful.

Maybe because all Souths good players are from New Zealand

Nathan Merritt? Peter Cusack? Dean Widders? John Sutton? Hell, Shane Rigon has been going better than half the blokes they've named.

Merritt, Cusack (one of the most consistent props in the game, as said by pretty much every commentator or panelist), and Dean Widders should be there.

I agree with Rigon too

and Maitua's replacement should of been Sutton imo

so at least 4 rabbits should be there

And you have played your game this weekend, if we beat Newcastle we will be 5th and you guys 6th.

As already pointed out you best players are Kiwis. In fact Peachey has the most Dally M's for your side.

build a bridge and get over it...it really doesnt matter anyway because city country isnt even a real trial for the NSW origin team...they need repuatation to make the NSW team

its humiliating, to play this well, and not even one bunny gets a jersey, yet last year, we were last and we still got one rep, which was adam mcdougall

Selectors have got to be predjudice against souths, merritt is the form winger in the comp.

Hayne has been terrible in defence, and hasnt offered anything in attack, and he gets in.

Popularity Vote, its pathetic

obviously im not a nsw fan so this is un unbiased opinion but how the hell can minichello get a spot in the city/country game? if he makes hte nsw side the selection process is a complete joke for nsw.
he hasnt scored a try all season and has done sh*t all on the field.

if the qld forwards can hold there own we will murder you 3 zip.

Geez these Rabbitohs only watch there games .

Heard of a bloke called Falou?

I also have no issue with rep games not have the flash the pan player of the week. Good consistant form over at least a year is better.

You will find if your team makes the 8 or a least wins close to what they lose, this year you representation may be better next year.

Again though you forget your kiwis have helped get you where you are. Is that not the difference between this year and last, as all the player you are whinging about played for you last year.

Folau is a queenslander, if not, the he has nothing on merritt, you dont see him scoring freak individual tries, most of folaus tries was catch dive score.

at least half of merritts tries, could not of been scored by any winger, or even thought of, he has sheer vision.

cooper & ryles weren't considered due to injury.

neither has set the comp on fire anyway.

creagh & morris should buy lotto tickets

hornby hasn't set anything on fire either - in fact if he stuffed straw up his arse & farted on a open flame it'd be doused.

Do YOU watch Souths games? Falou has been a revelation. However the majority of his tries have been from 10m out with the line wide open. Merritt has constantly created something out of nothing, scoring brilliant long range tries (his one vs the Eels, vs the Dogs, vs the Sharks, vs the Warriors are some examples). His defense has been fantastic. He has scored 29 tries in his last 31 games. He should be in the side, no questions.

The only valid reason for Nathan Merritt not being selected, is because he has nothing left to prove and they dont want to risk injury before origin time, he is a shoe in for NSW if these selectors had brains.

Yes I watched all but one Souths game, I have to get my Peachey fix.

Merritt is sus in defence, although it has improved, which wing was against against in the last minute?

Do not get me wrong I would have Merritt over Hayne, Hayne's defence is probably worse.

I have also watched Merritt being overlooked for David Simmons, talk about disgrace.

Merritt has been great in defence, really that is one of the only time, his defence has lapsed all season to a great deal.

Merritt, Merritt, Merritt...

Blah blah blah.

Just be thankful you'll have a fresh, motivated winger come the weekend, unlike Cronulla who'll have 7 players backing up...most of them forwards. Ouch!

City v Country is pretty much a waste of time - if anything it should be played as a trial in the bush pre-season. It's just anther game where a few players will get injured unnecessairily.

How the fugg did Creagh get the Lock spot over Bird??

See thats another one I cant understand,

they pick Creagh whose been playing second row at lock, and Bird who's been playin lock in the second row.

how the fugg did Creagh get in the team anyway, he's been nowhere his best and blokes like Tongue and Stewart have been unlucky.
