Bleh porridge. Never could hack it.

Bacon and egg is my breakfast whenever I'm actually hungry for morning food, which is rare.

Just buy the flavoured Uncle Toby's stuff. Still relatively healthy, and does away with the cardboard taste.

Loaded with sugar Mis

It is, but still lower calorie than the standard bowl of sugar rich cereal or the solutions of adding heaps of brown sugar and/or bacon bits others have suggested.

As it's the first meal of the day, nothing wrong with sugar. Perks you up and unless you're a sloth, you should burn off most of your intake during a standard work day.

Obviously, plain oatmeal would be healthier, but I'm of the belief that life isn't worth living if you're making yourself miserable just so you can be 105.

I have porridge every morning. Mix in some berries or dried fruit

Yeah, I've been known to mix in some fresh fruit. I've even made savoury oatmeal before with some salsa and corn.

Dinner tonight.

Fresh spinach
Beetroots cut into cubes
Feta cheese
Lentils that have been soaked in balsamic vinegar all day.

Best salad evaaarrr and the only expensive bit is the feta.

Aside from the fact that it spikes your insulin levels, sends you on a sugar high because your body has been starved for 8+ hours until the inevitable crash when you again crave more sugar.

Protein and complex carbs for breaky are best because they are more slowly absorbed and wont cause your blood sugar to spike

I was making my grocery list for the week. Will probably hit 100 bucks and it's just to feed me.

I could spend less, but I refuse to eat meat which isn't organic and grass fed and I love meat.
