The Sydney Roosters last night won the club championship for the first time since 1975 with dominat displays in Flegg and premier League.

There Flegg side beat the second placed Panthers at Leichhardt Oval 80-12.

Whilst there PL side beat St Marys 44-10.

Well done boys.

Parramatta won it something like 7 times in succession & look where it got them. The Club Championship is hardly relevent in this day & age...

Cheers,

You're asking if the Roosters get $$?

Even if they didn't win it they would find a way to get $$ out of it

If they get nothing but a trophy then its worthless, but if they get some bling then its just as relevant as the minor premiership

wow, thats astonishing! To me i would think winning the flegg title would mean rather little considering virtually none of them are local juniors. Also why was the flegg game played at Leichhardt Oval?? Are the Roosters a little tight with their money and wanted to save some money by playing there? Perhaps they're planning their next raid on junior talent???

Canterbury supporters should avoid bringing up the subject of $$ and calling Easts the Rorters. Your club pleaded guilty to a huge salary cap fraud which will never be beaten.
