I noticed some one else just tried to post an email from the club.

We dont allow emails to be copied, normally for breach of privacy reasons, but in the case there is a further issue in that you guys pay memberships for this privilege and I'm sure the club would not appreciate us copying and posting them on a forum for all to see when people pay for the privilege of receiving them.

while I agree with it and think it would be good in the perfect world, the fact that an extract from a private email is still up in the saints forum makes this stance useless. If anything it discriminates against eels supporters who this information is meant for.

that would be the eels supporters who paid for it, or the ones who want it without paying ?

Edit : I cant see any comparison with this issue and the proposed email to be sent to the Parramatta Stadium Trust regrading banners sizes in the Dragons forum.

Just because it seems to go against what has happened here in the past (eg the posting of team line ups straight from club member emails, in advance of when they appear on the club website) and might take people a while to get used to.

Whether it works or not is another question, but at least they are thinking ahead.

I don't think so.

It's interesting that they have an away team supporters bay organised for round 3 at the SFS but nothing for either team here. It's common knowledge the dragons supporters club position themselves in the northern terrace.

just can't wait for the big jersey and pom poms to come out and expect the dragons fans to play ball.

Yep, a very proactive email, well done to the club for planning and communicating to members in advance.

I note part of the email text has been posted in another thread in here... and imo it's just the type of info that is helpful to be circulated around the fan base (members and other GA ticket buyers) in any way possible.

(It wouldn't surprise me if that email has been reposted in facebook groups and the like.)
