They managed to get away with it 100yrs ago, so maybe it'll be okay in the flesh this time around. I know things have progressed in massive amounts in the time since (tv being a major one), but perhaps it'll be okay on the day. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what transpires from now until Round 6.

The city of Newcastle's official colours are cinnamon and green, and I think Newcastle rep teams used those colours for years too, but the Newcastle team in the 1908-1909 seasons was definitely red and white.

I'm buying Newcastle's new jersey for this season, but I think I'll give the heritage one a miss, unless I find it for cheap in the post-season sales. Far as I'm concerned, I have the Knights' original jersey. It's red and blue and sponsored by a takeaway chicken franchise. ;-)

Wow I like it.

Looks like Sew Eurodrive are the major sponsor and Members Equity are a sleeve sponsor. - I'm not sure who the other sleeve sponsor is.
