Quite ESL style imo (big collars i think) ....not bad though.

Yeah I was thinking that too, looks like Salford and St Helens. But a good jersey though.

I thought maybe a bit of yellow like the last Reds (1995-97) team.

When it's something that's been posted, let alone in the wrong section, I'll be sure to let the dope know :)

Now that the WT online shop has actual photos of this one rather than just the graphic, I'm liking it a lot more.

I still think the idea came off better for Wests (The Wests style stripes suit it better) but the Balmain one doesn't look so bad at all.

Wow I like it.

Looks like Sew Eurodrive are the major sponsor and Members Equity are a sleeve sponsor. - I'm not sure who the other sleeve sponsor is.

The other is GeoffBaldwin.com.au
It's a real estate company owned by -you guessed it!- Geoff Baldwin. He's the head of the WARL and the WA Reds.
He's quite successful here in Perth and is/was involved with quite a number of organisations.

Oh, and the collars aren't to scale. When I quickly made these pics after the WA Reds open day, I just used the jersey template from one of the Rugby League computer games ... probably RL2.
The jerseys look so more better in real life than a) these here; and b) the photos and news footage I've seen of the open day since. They really do look good. I'm waiting for them to be released to the general public, but I'd say they'd be sold almost exclusively at the WA Reds home games, so I shall have to wait until at least mid-April if that's the case.

Roosters will soon be selling actual match day jerseys. The actual jersey used on-field with a different cut and different material to the retail version. Might pick one up later in the year.

Do you know your images are on the WARL site?

I didn't until now! Bugger me! That's fine, they're welcome to do so (it's their jerseys in the first place!), but I admit I wasn't expecting them to be there!
I would've thought they would use actual photos of the jerseys either by themselves or being worn by a player or two ... maybe from the open day the article was about!

The Panthers have a new sleeve sponsor - Nepean Motor Group. Apparently things went sour with Parkview...

Jan 22 - The Panthers have a new sleeve sponsor – the Nepean Motor Group.

Agreement was announced today by Panthers Business Development Manager Shannon Donato.

“The Nepean Motor Group is a well known local business committed to our region – and we believe this is the enhancement of a long relationship and one that will benefit both parties,” Donato said. “The agreement is for two years.”

Nadeem Khan, Nepean Motor Group’s Managing Director said: “We have been operating in the local community for 10 years and have been sponsoring the Panthers throughout that time. We now feel it is time to further demonstrate and strengthen our support for the team, just as the local community has supported us.”

Donato said the agreement with Nepean Motor Group followed a breakdown in negotiations with the existing sleeve sponsor, Parkview.

Panthers is currently working with its official apparel supplier, ISC, to ensure that all 2008 jerseys can get the correct sponsor’s name on the sleeves.

Details will be announced when finalised.

“We are acting as quickly as possible to resolve the situation because of concern for our supporters,” Donato said. “ISC is being very supportive.”
