Coach Flanno

Very impressive interview, and as long as the right systems and standards are put into place from day one, we should have a lot to look forward to in this next era (certainly much more than what we've become accustomed to throughout the last 12 seasons).

I know all the rumours are circulating about what players are being targeted as both immediate and longer term signings. But yet to be convinced that any of this is any more than player managers using us as leverage vs potential deals coming in from elsewhere, until our new recruitment manager is sitting behind the desk.

Millward and Haran have been disasters. We can't discount the roles they have both played in the ultimate demise of Mary & Hook as well.

Hearing Flanno's plans really excites me. It's not about making the finals but being successful all round from the juniors to the No.1 brand in Sydney. And to think Saints missed out on their first target in Ryles and settled for this guy as second. I think that will be the turning point if we are a success in 2 years or so. Thank god Ryles got cold feet.

As Dragons fan for 63 years, I'm mightily impressed with coach Flannigan's aims and aspirations
for OUR club. However, the rebuild he intends will take time, so lets not have the 'sack the coach' idiocy if results
don't come our way immediately. Remember he is basically starting from ground zero, given we only just avoided the wooden spoon this season. The old adage 'Rome wasn't built in a day' is worth keeping in mind- but what an empire they did build. I'm optimistic that sustained success is just around the corner!

He wears his heart on his sleeve, he has alot of people to prove wrong and i think under flanno with a little less expectation he will thrive
Watching this interview really shows emotion, he cares about his playing ability. I for one want this guy to shine and prove a lot of doubters wrong. I really think his old man can bring the best out of him. Good luck Kyle give us your best, you are already leaps and bounds ahead in caring for the club you play for than our illustrious captain.

Welcome KingFlanno7. I really hope that both the Flanagans do well for us in the next few years and beyond. With a name like yours you can be the one to head the cheer squad for them.

Cheers

I know what you mean. I have listened to a few of his interviews and I really like him. Also reading his plans and action so far, he is bang on. I am loving this, and feel bright times are ahead :)

Kyle will be a good back up, until we do a deal with Ben Sook, the sook still wants out, but as stated when he first wanted out, its not just a matter of a handsake and off you go to Des Hasler and the titans without compensation.
Why strengthen the titans, like I am sick of the WWF not looking after the original clubs that made rugby league what it is today.
The WWF announced Peter Sterling as the next Clive Churchill medal presenter without contacting him, what a joke!
