Fair go? Well, it’s an absolutely great hospital. If he’s as bad as everyone reckons he must have exited from RNS a long time ago. When and how did he become involved with STGI?
His dad Laurie was a long time director at Saints, even had a golf course hole named after him when NSWRL owned it's own course out Campbelltown way, "Laurie Doust Lake".

Silverdale P, it's the 3 year membership before you can vote. Plus here's an example of St. George democracy at work, or not. A friend of mine heard of a vacancy and a call for candidates to nominate. He put up his hand and fulfilled the requirements. He was then contacted prior to the election and told he was only one of 2 candidates - the other was Craig Young who would be the unbackable favourite to win. He was asked to withdraw his candidacy on the basis of electing Craig Young unopposed would save the club the costs entailed in the electoral process. My friend withdrew his candidacy!
If that is even true why did they lie down and not go to the media, the club itself or NRL and complain about the process.

So far we have nearly everyone in world agreeing for Flanno, Fans, Media, the BOD (except for Doust), get it done this week or we'll end up losing our best player, we need stability NOW!
BTW I was part of a Jury, years ago 10 of us stuck solid apart from two others, by the end of the day, we had the other 2 on board case closed.
Same needs to happen here with doust.

f**king knew it. He was one of the selectors too back in the day much before my time if I'm not mistaken
To me this all sounds ominously like the StG club has been dominated for many years by a certain secret society that is famous for scratching each other’s backs, especially in controlling powerful & public positions. The penny has finally dropped for me. No doubt, this explains the otherwise inexplicable job security enjoyed by certain individuals, the conga-line of incompetent coaches and the arrogant sense of ‘no need to explain anything to the plebs’. Probably explains Doust’s unyielding position re Flanno too. Slapping my brow as I write. Doust is serving a role that goes beyond the board.

Flanagan should had been made coach when the board finally grew a set of nuggets and kicked Mary out . However the man has not been approached before now , only after their 1st choice - Ryles rejected the Dragons .

He , Flanagan said a few weeks back that he had not been contacted by the Dragons at all . However the situation has changed and apparently he is now in the mix.

Would not surprise me if Flanagan said no and who could blame him ? The man was at the Dragons for a couple of seasons and they simply were not interested in giving him the opportunity to coach the team .

His last position being the recruitment officer must had left him feeling quite dejected. As much as I would like him to be the Dragons head coach , I just don’t feel that he will take the job .

Yes, that is true or likely true. I threw an application in on the Leagues Club years and years ago. I got a phone call from a prominent Leagues Club (not football) identity. Nothing specific was said but it was an uncomfortable call and I withdrew my application.

But remember WIN as a private company does offer any voting option on that side of the board.

From birth. See below.

I’m out the front of the ground in the cold and rain.

I’m holding out a candle for Des and it keeps goin out!

Des solves every single problem. Good for each and all.
