Comedy shows...best and worst!!!

I heard over the radio that "Two and a Half Men" looks like being the highest rating tv show of 2008.
The radio dj's gave the show an absolute bagging. Personally, I agree with most of Australia. I think it is one of the funniest shows going around. Every character adds something to the show.

That is the thing with comedy. One person may find something hillarious while the next person may not see anything amusing at all.

I 'd like you to name your top five best and worst comedies of all time. Please add some comments if you can.

BEST

1. Married with Children : My favourite comedy show of all time. I never fail to laugh at Al Bundy's failures. Supporting characters are all great value too.

2. Frasier : Frasier and Niles are my favourite comedy duo of all time. Dialogue is fantastic and an angry Frasier never gets boring.

3. The Simpsons : The most universally accepted cartoon of all time. Well written jokes for all ages.

4. Happy Days : I loved the Fonz and Ritchie Cunningham. Once Ritchie left the show, it never recovered.

5. Two and a Half Men : For the reasons I've mentioned above.


WORST

1. Sinfeld : I HATE this show. I just don't get Jerry's humour. That tall guy sidekick annoys the sh*t out of me.

2. Jimeon : Thank he lord he is off our screens. Geez, I can't stand his so-called "humour".

3. Kingswood Country : I will never know why that show lasted as long as it did. Awful, awful, awful.

4. Cheers : Bores me to tears.

5. MASH : Get that crap off our screens for good!!!!

1. The Fresh Prince of Bel- Air: My Favorite show EVER. i own the first four seasons (five and six havnt been released yet) and i cant stop cracking up. Everyone loves this show. its just classic awesome humor.

2. Complete Savages: Not known to many people, but easily one of the funniest shows i have ever watched, EVER. About a dad and his 5 sons. LINK To VIDEO ON YOUTUBE. i have a few of the episodes on my computer. it is great.

3. Scrubs: Only recently introduced to the genious of scrubs, but i love it

4. Friends: One all my all time favs, it is just a great show.

5. The Big Bang Theory: I own the first season and it is an awesome show.

I'm assuming cartoon shows are in? Best is arrested development no contest, then in no particular order of bestness seinfeld, south park, father ted and married with children. Honourable mentions to futurama, reno: 911, friends (I this will be a controversial choice).

is that show on fox8 j-pod a comedy? I tried watching it and was bored to tears, and I think it was supposed to be a comedy. Roseanne was pretty boring but is that drama?it had a laugh track I think, so its at least trying to be funny. king of the hill is ok but not really that funny. I cant really think of many shows that I have seen that I disliked that much. That pamela anderson show stacked.

I had a look at some other forum for the worst shows of all time and somebody wrote scrubs (because I cant get the jokes without a laugh track). Oh my.... :?

I like it.

I used to not really get into it until I ( hungover ) spent a day on the lounge and watched one of those all day will and grace marathons.

Saying that... I would rather watch re-runs of seinfeld over re-runs of will and grace .

:? It's one of the greatest shows ever made, yes Jerry can be annoying, but what about George, his parents, Uncle Leo, Newman, David Putty, Mr Petermen etc etc so many great charcters on that show, a classic

it is not often we agree...this is one of those special and rare occasions.

You do know that Georges dad is Ben Stillers father...he is a genius.
