I agree.

I'm ecstatic on who the Club has managed to recruit for next season.

But we are lacking that strike centre automatic selection in the team.

Most on this forum have been screaming for someone to be signed to fill this role in the team.

There's been numerous threads and even a poll on this issue.

Now that it seems that because one is not coming anyone who mentions it to be a position of need still they are seen as a whinger etc.

Funny how sentiment changes.

Ryan's best position is wing.

Gordon's best position is fullback/wing.

Gordon playing in the centres I think would get smashed up too much.

Think of the injuries he has had during his career playing in less physical positions in the back line.

Jono Wright could play centre but is hardly a strike weapon.

Maybe Mills? But every week he has new injury.

Will be interesting to see who gets the role.

A positive is that Gordon's injuries weren't fleshy niggly ones. I thought he played ok on return after the broken leg this year.

Haven't seen a lot of him, but based on what I saw in the semis I think he'd be a terrible option anywhere in the first 17.
