Yep but I’d suggest that this will be treated far more seriously than that one (rightly or wrongly). And I don’t recall them making that claim on the field but later as may happen with some witnesses in this case. In any case a referees word will always be preferred to a players for obvious reasons.
Yeah bra, i was talking to patty bra

CA were gutless.

Ponting, Hayden, Gilly all said in there auto biographies all the education and sit downs about reporting racial vilification they got from CA was all a complete waste of time.

When it got to the crunch and something happened they were weak-kneed and terrified of India going home.
Should have helped them pack

Today? Kerr. Have only heard one mention of Leniu this morning, Kerr had been mentioned in every news headline on the radio so far.
I think that's where I'm at on this too, looking in as a fan on another team.

I'm uncomfortable that the court of public opinion has already found him guilty when he is entitled to natural justice like anyone else.

But his actions, calling it 'fun and games', calling out Mam and telling him to find him at the hotel, and then confronting the Broncos for not leaving it on the field, his brother posting monkey emojis on social media... none of that helps. At all.

If he played for my team, and the judiciary hearing returned a guilty verdict, I would be happy for him to sit the rest of the season out. Not just for the slur, but the complete lack of contrition afterwards.

I also would have been pissed if my coach acted the way Robbo acted in the press conference. I can't believe he isn't facing any sanctions. It was unprofessional, and if Ricky had said it the media and everyone here would be - rightly - calling him out on it and demanding a fine or suspension.

But I don't think further discussion helps. And the NRL needs to take some responsibility and deal with this as quickly as possible. The longer it drags out, the worse it is for everyone involved.
The Rooster's management. Trainers. Coaches. Should have acted straight away. The moment the on Field complaint was made with the referee . An told Spencer to shut the faff up. Don't say another word to any Bronco. Or media. Get away into the sheds straight away after the game. But none of that happened. Where's the Rooster's leadership ??? This should set as an example of how not to mismanage the situation. From Here on in
For the future. All club's take notes

Then the revenue from the tour would have been lost
Yes. The right thing to do was deemed to cost too much money and was too hard.
But long run, how many fans did CA lose? How many die hards became casual fans? What impact did it have on the playing group and the careers of CA administrators?
