Not sure if this has been mentioned:

Daniel Holdsworth --> Salford

Salford seal deal for Holdsworth
Salford City Reds have completed the signing of Canterbury Bulldogs utility player Daniel Holdsworth.
The 25-year-old, who has scored 13 tries in 70 games for the Doggies, will join Salford subject to approval of a work permit.
"He's a great playmaker who can play at six, seven, nine or 13," said Reds director of football Steve Simms.
"His all-round game is quality and we can't wait for him to get over here with us."

Holdsworth tried his hardest for us, was criticised by fans alot of the time but is a solid player, if Salford is expecting him to be a no.7, they are in for some trouble but at no.6 outside a decent half he will be do the job, goodluck Dj.

Stagg isn't in the class of DJ atm. Stagg has failed at rep level before.

Aren't we all lucky this Front Row forum Poster isn't a national selector, otherwise someone like Darren Lockyer would have played no more than his debut game wearing the green and gold, and Laurie Daley would have been scrapped after his dreadful Blues debut. Thanks Scoop.

Stagg is 10 times the player now than he was when he played for QLD. Is he the walk-up replacement for DJ?? who knows? but he will definately feature in discussions.

Darren Lockyer and Laurie Daley are champions who proved their ability time after time with performances. Darren Lockyer replied to his bad test with an annihilation of North Sydney 60-6 while Daley time after time proved what a champion he was.

Comparing David Stagg to Laurie Daley or Darren Lockyer? If you say so but tbh I think you are clutching at straws.

Dallas Johnson has been an integral member of the most dominant team in the competition since 2006 in the Melbourne Storm and a very integral member of the QLD team that won 4 series in a row and has never failed at rep level.

So yeah if you think replacing DJ is as easy as putting in someone like Stagg you are in for a shock imo.
