Probably leaves us with a complete QLD backline.
And that wasn't going to happen anyhow?

Lets see if sticky keeps solid with his stand on departing rep players playing in the WC. eg crocker and buderus

He's not the only selector...

But national coach Ricky Stuart last night told The Daily Telegraph both were certain to be in 40-man preliminary squad submitted by the ARL to RLWC organisers on July 31.

"I'm sure based on their current form, both for their clubs and at interstate level, they will be among the first players picked,'' Stuart said.

Stuart believes players quitting the NRL should not play for Australia - but the final decision will be made by selectors. Buderus has signed with Leeds and Crocker for Hull.

THE Broncos have taken steps to ensure they are competitive in the post-Wayne Bennett era by signing youngsters Peter Wallace, Steve Michaels and Ben Te'o.
The club has also locked up some of the best talent in the National Youth Competition with the retention of under-20 players Gerard Beale, Josh Hoffman, Ben Hunt, Andrew McCullough, Josh McGuire, Will Tupou and Jharal Yow Yeh. Wallace's three-year contract extension will tie him to the Broncos until the end of the 2012 season.
Michaels has re-signed for two years and Wests Tigers player Te'o, who went to school at Keebra Park High, will return to Queensland on a one-year deal.
Bronc os chief executive Bruno Cullen said: "Peter Wallace has done everything right since he moved up here this season (from Penrith) and we obviously see him as a player who has an important future at this club.
"Although Steve Michaels has suffered a serious injury this year, his new deal is a sign of the faith we have in his career continuing on an upward path.
"And with Tonie Carroll moving on into retirement at the end of this year, Ben Te'o is going to fill an important role as a wide-running forward for us.
All seven of the Toyota Cup players, including NRL debutants Hoffman and McCullough, have been re-signed for a further two years.

Michaels was in great form before injury. I daresay he would have had Boyd's origin wing spot if he was still playing.

Te'o is a good pickup for the Broncos.

They have some good forwards that can bust tackles and break the line in Thaiday, Parker and Te'o.

Te'o put a great shot on Quinn last night whilst Te'o was running with ball in hand.

Yeah! That was an absolutely massive collision!

Quinn is a strong bugger aswell, but he looked like he belted by a truck!

Boyd is a better winger than Steve Micheals. As a cetre Michaels is superior but Qld have an abundance of centres!

Te'o's 'D' is very average though. He let in a few tries last night and in his time.

The tigers helped him through his juniors and now he has shown no loyalty. Shame really. Cant see him in FG anymore for the remainder. Sheens should blood someone else.
