Inspirational fullback Brett Stewart has officially agreed to terms on a new four-year deal with the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles, declaring his intention to remain a one-club player.
And people complain about the Bulldogs salary cap...
They've lost Lussick, Williams, Whare and Oldfield but they've resigned Stewart, Ballin, Matai, Foran, Taufua and Cherry-Evans. Those blokes would all have to be on bigger deals, especially DCE. I'm just saying this because people have the hide to question us when we sign "superstars" like Inu and Perrett

Wow...And people complain about the Bulldogs salary cap...
But good on Stewart and Manly
The difference is that the response from Dogs fans is always to list 10 or so players who are off contract as a reason why they have money to spend, half of which who would be on the minimum, the other half who have since re-signed as well.
Not just re-signed, but significantly upgraded.
You'd think so, but IMHO he'll be one of the most sought after players in the game when he next comes off contract.Should mean Glenn stays as well. Great news.
Long contract for a bloke who already has bad knees and dodgy hamstrings.
