You'd have to assume we were chasing him before we signed Tate, Winterstein and Fai fai loa. I think we're pretty set for backs next season, need confirmation on the Dallas Johnson signing and then maybe 1 more forward

i would have thought Willie would have got LOD's cash. i find it a little odd that he hasn't signed anywhere for next year yet.

DESPITE some media denials recently, we can confirm that impressive young Sea Eagles prop Lama Tasi has inked a deal that will see him leave the club at the end of the season.

Tasi will follow in the footsteps of boom forward Jared Waerea-Hargreaves and will link with the Roosters. It’s a crying shame as Tasi has been extremely impressive in the Toyota Cup this season.

According to the papers, willies preference is to stay with the cows and finish his career. He said hes happy up there and if he was offered the same or similar money, he wound stay. I hope he does too.

Who else can relieve Friend for 15 minutes a game? James Aubusson is sh*t and Koupamalaka is worse.

Sam Brunton is probably seen as too young and raw which is a shame because he is probably going to be better than Friend.

The New Zealand Warriors have pulled out of trying to sign centre Steve Matai from fellow NRL club Manly.
Chief executive Wayne Scurrah said the Warriors were keen to recruit the Kiwi international, however, Matai, who comes off contract at the end of the season, had indicated throughout the negotiations that he wanted to stay with the Sea Eagles if possible.
"We haven't heard from his manager since making our final offer and have now withdrawn it," Scurrah said.

Edit: perhaps this should be in rumors (sorry).

Ben Jones can and should, the best game of his career was playing Hooker for the Indigenous All-Stars.
