Oh well I take heart from the fact that despite a number of of advantages over every other cap including being able to spend a considerable amount more than other clubs on their playing roster the donkeys are still odds on to get knocked out this week. I hope the Knights win another premiership before Brisbane or wayne does again.

Every year the Broncos don't win the comp, they have underachieved.

Nice to lock Gillett in - four years is great! With Parker retiring and Barba coming off the books we should be able to land a few more in the off season. Ideally a front rower like Napa.

did he take a 200k pay cut just so he could stay at the golden club under uncle wayne?
So they have signed Nikorema, Mead and Gillett?

Mead and Nikorema are sort of odd to me because both could be playing their preferred positions elsewhere and probably for more money.
Nikorema essentially signed to stay on the bench?

It's not that unusual, particuarly given Nikorima is still just a kid really. Guys like Ryan Hinchcliffe signed to stay on the bench until they were over 30 lol

I'm either not smart enough or dumb enough to know what that means.

You can make that too short sighted to know what that means. If every squad was set the same standard (Newcastle), the fans would be gone in a heartbeat. Nobody wants to watch that amateur shit.

You don't think the Knights wish they had the advantages other clubs have?

They wish they do but they don't, do they. So instead of acknowledging the real problem (too many Sydney teams), we just make everyone else bear the burden.

The updated salary cap really can't come fast enough so this pain in the ass argument stops rearing its ugly head. TPA's are not going away. Ever.

Updated salary cap won't resolve anything. The better players will demand more money absorbing the extra cap space given.

Wonder why the Bronco's always have been and always will be vehemently opposed to a second Brisbane team........

What exactly does "too many Sydney teams" have to do with Newcastles disadvantages?
