Auvaa didn't run away to another club or avoid consequences. He plead his guilt from the beginning in a court of law and received the punishment they deemed worthy. Then he received he punishment deemed by the NRL without complaint. He has a story you can talk about reformation, seems all Walker had to do is skip out on his contract and moan and he gets off without a second word. And the papers are already talking about how much he has learned and grown in the same sentence where he says he didn't do anything wrong. The difference between Walker and Gray is very evident

Souths have a 30 man squad announced 2 days ago.

Sam is in it.

NRL have confirmed it behind closed doors.

They'll probably announce it on Christmas Eve though.

Walker was released due to his behavioural/attitude issues. Madge wanted to keep Walker but Walker was stupid.

Souths are still an outside chance of getting Roberts.

Broncs remain favourites though.
