Coach griffin doing the other 15 clubs fans a huge favour by hoovering up all the duds into 1 place.
He’s got to have a lot of talentless veterans in the background to seamlessly bring in when he jettisons the super-talented young blokes for having the gall to want to play some exciting football….

Alex Johnston re-signs with Souths until end of 2025.

He currently has scored 136 career tries, but 113 from 106 games on the wing! If he stays fit and maintains his strike rate, he'll break Kev Irvine's record by the end of this contract (at which point he'll still only be 30 years old).

Wasn't he not wanted a few years back and fan pressure helped retain him?

Best winger not called To'o, Tupou or Addo-Carr in the game.

I think the issue was his agent was trying to sell him as fullback to chase bigger dollars the guy is very much wanted by the team but not as a fullback.

Lachlan Miller was two hours away from giving up on his NRL dream.

About a fortnight ago, he had in front of him a contract from LA Giltinis, the American Major League Rugby franchise coached by former Wallaby Stephen Hoiles. The intention was to sign it, until a virtual meeting with incoming Cronulla coach Craig Fitzgibbon changed everything.

is he one of those JAC/Papenhuzen tigers players that never gets a proper go? Seen some brilliance from this guy might be a solid signing

probably not, he’s decent but not on those levels. Too slow to be an effective centre and not big enough to be an effective back rower. Did score some big tries for us though
