This is how I kind of feel, clearly BK has a stake in RL in the US and has the passion to move the game forward, I would think the USARL would be working very closely with him to pull things together. Is it too late to pull things together?
The USARL is much stronger with the AMNRL teams involved, hence their pursuit of all AMNRL teams. I still think it would be better to absorb all teams as a group than one at a time. The season doesn't start until June so I would think there would be plenty of time. There are still some very big question marks in the USARL. There were a lot of BLOW OUT scores last year and there are teams that are being counted on to contribute that either have no track record or a pretty weak track record of performance. Then you have only 5 teams from the AMNRL and other concerns as well.
My main hope is that they can use these 2 months to figure things out and form one league.
FW, How can we work with BK closely, he has no authority to negotiate or help and obviously CC doesn't want his help after his posts. And we don't have 2 months to get this done. We have obligations to our sponsors/teams/players/fans with announcing our schedule and moving forward with our season to secure venue dates, travel plans etc. We usually announce it in early January and would prefer earlier.
We would be stronger with your teams and make the competition better and ease the travel burden on all with full conferences. How are we going to absorb the teams all at once, you all made it very clear you are staying put and are confident in your AMNRL leadership. Why would we delay any longer?
