The Roosters cannot win on Sunday due to the 50 point rule, or in their case 60 point rule, having let in 60 points v the Bulldogs (god that's bad!) in Round 3. No team has ever won a comp in 102 seasons and let in 50+ in the same year :p

I'm on the bandragon!

2010 Penrith Panthers – The worst 2nd placed team in the history of sports.

That's a matter of your opinion. Not fact. Our for and against was still pretty damn good and for the first 16 weeks we were going consistently well. There has been plenty of high ranked sides over the years to fall away at the back of end of seasons, I'd hardly say that Penrith is the worst, and besides most Panther fans were happy with an improved season. We were unlucky with so many injuries in the finals as well, but don't let facts cloud your judgement.

Come back when you can deal in facts, rather than opinions.

One thing is for sure, the Dragons have been the best team all year. No 60 points let in against the Dogs, they beat Cronulla TWICE, the inconsistent Roosters lost both times and they never lost to the Cowboys (which admittedly Roosters AND Penrith both did). For the sake of the competition, the Dragons need to win on Sunday to show that consistency throughout the whole season can be rewarded.

So, in your opinion, who was a worse second place team?

It's a horrible nightmare... I can't speak on behalf of all Bulldog supporters but my WORST nightmare would be Parramatta V Dragons GF.

My worst nightmare would be Bulldogs vs Dragons easily. Could not care less about any other team winning.

So I take it that you were supporting Melbourne in the last 4 Grand finals because we wouldn’t want an inconsistent team winning would we?

Below are some facts as you have requested

Dragons last 13 games (half of games this year including finals)

- Scored 268 points at 20.6 points per game
- Conceded 168 points at 12.9 per game

Roosters last 13 games

- 329 points at 25.3 points per game
- 215 points at 16.5 points per game

We deserve to be there based on our 2nd half of the season, we have beaten teams 2, 3 and 4 in the finals with team 1 remaining.
