Just want to say congratulations on your great victory today. You guys for most of the game were the better side and deserved the win.
We just couldn't get the little things right at crucial moments.

I'm shattered to lose as you could understand, but proud of what parra have achieved and to fight back like we did, I don't think too many teams could have done that.

So congrats on a game well played.

Great sentiment, Eelectrica, and a wonderful attitude. Onya! :thumn

The Eels certainly didn't give up - and they really pushed on in the second half.

Best wishes for your lads next season. :)

The Eels certainly didn't discgrace themselves, Eelementary - they played great Football - and really lifted in the second half. You have every right to be proud of Parramatta. :) Thank you for the gracious wishes for Melbourne.

Nathan Hindmarsh in particular DESERVES (Along with Nathan Cayless) a premiership, I do hope he gets there in his career.

Both Eele's are class...and are the TRUE eels supporters. not these knobs who have jumped on the bandwagon this week.

Thanks guys....you should be just as proud of your boys as we are ours!

Congrats to the LU Storm fans.

Better team today, no question. Better defence, better execution, better control.

Enjoy the feeling... and we'll be back for your scalps next season!

I also want to congratulate two people (well, Melbourne Storm officials and fans as a whole, but these two incidents stood out):

(1) Craig Bellamy, for coming up with a game plan to nullify Jarryd Hayne that worked brilliantly. I thought Hayne was OK without being great, but it came down to Bellamy's great coaching and the Storm's great ability to follow his plans. Well done!

(2) Brett White. During the game, his and Fui's eyes were filled with anger, hatred, desperation, determination...After the full-time siren, even though Fui was probably devastated, I saw him shaking hands with Brett and sharing a joke or two...It really pleases me to see two warriors who go at it so brutally in a game, but can show true class and sportsmanship after the siren has gone.

And really, it goes for everyone - a lot of the Storm boys were very gracious towards the Eels players, and the fans.

All in all it was a great day - the best team rightfully won, but it wasn't a blow-out and it was a brilliant game of footy.

Congratulations, once again, to all Melbourne Storm fans and officials - 3 titles in a decade of dominance is just massively impressive!

I also wanted to say I was impressed with Bellamy's class - I'll admit I have never been his biggest fan (though I don't hate him like many others and I do recognise his genuine brilliance). I was reading the article whereby Jarryd Hayne went up to Craig to congratulate hi, and Craig took the time to speak to him and tell him to remember the feeling of losing a decider to spur him onto bigger things.

To me, that speaks volumes about the man's character and I applaud him. Truly a man of genuine class imo.

Yes, enjoy a well deserved victory Storm fans.

A clinical, classy performance. Congratulations.

As a few have said, we may have been beaten by a better side but I was proud of what Parra achieved this year.

Lets hope we meet again in 12 months time !
