Why don't you guys just build a bridge like we and the Sharks did

oxford street was always the border line. anything south is rabbits, that includes SFS , moore park ok ;-)
roosters know this , so stop crowing
roosters will eventually be forced to merge anyway.
With Souths? Jeez, that'd be an odd combo...
Politis disagrees
It'd be bloody weird... what on earth would we call ourselves?
Gotta say though, if you were to rationalise the NRL, one way to start would be to have a "regional rep" comp played in a sort of NAB cup format that operated on a semi rep level.
That way, you could split Sydney into South, East, West and North.
For the East, you'd for a team with the best players from Easts, Souths and Balmain players (so wests players who were assigned to balmain for reserve grade).
For the South it'd be Cronulla and St George
For West it'd be Parramatta, Penrith and the Dogs,
And for the North it'd be Manly and whatever northern affiliated players there were left.
The rest of the country would also need sorting out, but that'd be a good way to rationalise Sydney.

Isn't easts leagues club south of Oxford Street?oxford street was always the border line. anything south is rabbits, that includes SFS , moore park ok ;-)
