Harsh without knowing the facts. They could have been out and dodgy characters approached them because they are famous-ish. The "hanging out" might have only lasted 10 mins.

All we know at the moment is that he had one Chinese meal at the same table as some trash (or in fact that he sat at such a table for a photo). We don't know how that came about. We don't know whether he knew before going along just who was going to be at the dinner. We'll find out soon enough. Til then I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.
