I'm f**kin shattered. You go through all the lockdowns, do everything right just so you can enjoy the simple pleasures of heading to a few NRL games during the winter and this happens. It's a very minor deal in the scheme of things, but I'm over it. Might get more than a few games in 2022 - who knows.

That's why i got to as many games as i could in Sydney this season because in the back of mind i thought things would resurface again. Actually would have flown into Townsville today and gone to the Roosters game against the Cowboys this Saturday then onto Magnetic Island for four days but not to be

It seems partners wont be joining the players for at least a week and maybe longer. Its an absolute shambles now. Players are locked up like criminals without access to their families or outside contact. No wonder they are going crazy and trying to back out of the NRL made prisons that the players are living in. Freedom is more important than anything and our courageous NRL players don't even have that.

As for the Storm , they are no longer the Melbourne Storm, they are the Nomad Storm or the Gypsy Storm, they don't know if they are Arthur or Mather. Up and down the the Coast and in and out of lockdown and bubbles,. Sooner or later it will cost them. I reckon Newcastle are a big chance this week with Ponga and Fizzel back. I have taken them at the line. The line is 16.5 points and given Melbourne's movements it will catch up with them in the end.

That’s tough for many players but more so the wife’s, partners, girlfriends and kids. It’ll be interesting to know how many players don’t accept these conditions
