I love how the naysayers and doom mongers are "oh it effects my team badly" "oh there are no cases of COVID in my State/Territory so why should my team have to move" etc etc. What a load of horse manure. The virus does not give a stiff, it doesn't recognise borders. Also, just cause there are no cases now does not mean there won't be any in the foreseeable future. This is all about risk management, and minimising it so the comp continues.

If you want everyone to stay where they are, do you really think one of the numbskulls who play our code wouldn't catch it by going somewhere they shouldn't and becoming a close contact with someone who's infectious? We have to play home games at Campbelltown in 2020 despite the ACT being Covid-free.

We have to play home games at the Gold Coast in 2021 despite the ACT being Covid-free.

Canberra should remain at home for this round. Cronulla could just fly in & out game day from SEQ, as has been already happening.

Canberra then travel and stay in SEQ for their next 2 games. Both away to NSW teams.

Challenging part is after that. If Victoria is closed to the ACT still and they can't get an exemption. Canberra's home game against the Dragons is moved to SEQ, Canberra then travel to Melbourne to play the Storm and following that return to Canberra. If the ACT stays covid free.

If cases come to Canberra, Raiders stay in Queensland.

So again, sure leave the Raiders in the ACT. When they then can't get a travel exemption to those states, and games get cancelled as a consequence, and the games finances fall in a hole as a result, then you can show what "geniuses" you are.

Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia all have bans on people from the ACT entering. Also if so much as one case happens there, what odds the QLD Government does similar and slaps a ban on them too?

It is no point saying the Raiders should get to stay there if the state governments deny the Raiders entry. Further if the other teams then go to the ACT, there is no guarantee they would be allowed back to the state they came from.

This is not about what is morally right or wrong. This is about dealing with established facts and also on the behaviours various state governments have exhibited since the pandemic commenced, and working accordingly. You are just ignoring practical realities which I think is just plain daft.

There’s plenty of other things as well.
1. guided tour with Big Papa who will then down a six pack, ring 000 on himself. You get to watch him get arrested.
2. A night out with Curtis Scott finishing up with ring side seats at Kokomos.
3. I also hear Skeepe will for 20 bucks show you the route that the cops got into a car chase with Todd Carney.
4. Any NRL player who likes to hang out with bikies then Canberra’s your town. Most OLMCG have set up shop in a big way down there.
