This happens to be a common problem in certain communities and so until something is done about it, this will continue to be the case.
Come on possum no racial slurs allowed and for the record it is a common problem in all communities
Barba is a fruit cake and and a very ordinary human being so leave it at that and he should have been excommunicated from the NRL long ago.

So someone can start a thread that we should apply to the NRL so we sign him and rehabilitate him.

Spot on. This isn't a racial dispute @possm. DV is everywhere, even my neighbours, the all white people next door. I actually feel ashamed I didn't ring the cops sooner. I assumed our other neighbours that witnessed this f**wit over many months would have done it. How wrong was I.

Im assuming for the Cowboys to take the stand they have, then there is merit to the allegation. Follow that with Greenberg's comments, then this fool should never play football again, or be associated with the code in any way. Disgraceful...

Todd Greenberg: Ben Barba "will not return" to NRL

Barba had his contract with North Queensland terminated on Friday night, following allegations of physical assault against his partner on Australia Day.

Yes Todd and not the first time for BB was it. You were CEO of the Dogs when a lot of stuff went down back then. And what about his 2 strikes policy re being caught with illicit drugs. Yes he served a suspension ...playing the game he loves somewhere else in the world for probably as good or even better money.
It was you that endorsed his contract for 2019 yet others go through a lot of testing and proving that their state of mind is good and that they are worthy of a NRL contract. (fair enough). Some wont even get to come back for what appears to be of less serious crimes. (fair enough) Why was BB welcomed so easily back.?

And there is evidence of Dylan Walker on the front lawn couple of months ago...Yes Police matter now...but why dont the same rules apply to Manly teminating a contract regardless off his parther withdrawing the charges when it was seen in public?...Just my thoughts?

Good point re: Greenberg. From a female perspective, I'd like to know if the NRL does anything to help these girls, whether they recant the abuse or not. I find this a very sad situation tbh.

Terrible situation for the wife & kids. Yes a paradox really.Irrespective of how she feels about him she needs to divorce to ensure she gets 50% of his earnings to raise the kids.If she waits 5 years it may be all gone.
