Crappy Grand Final entertainment

I thought she was decent to be fair - not my sort of music, but at least she appeared to be in tune and good at what she does.

For the nostalgia, I do think we should have been having a rendition of Simply The Best (Probably from Jimmy) given the anniversary and how it was used to launch the season.

All things considered that was pretty good.

The Travis Barker 10 second cameo was pretty funny. He should have at least done a 1 minute drum solo.

What were the other options available? Are Tame Impala back in the country? One Four should have got a call up.

Just turned it on and Amy Shark was doing an INXS cover with some of the original band, and Kirk Pengilly does his mad sax solo.

What more do you merkins want?!
Her whole set was ball achingly tedious then they wheeled those two out to play a butchered rendition of their most boring hit.
How about something to gee the crowd up you fcken dullard?

I hate rock but rock bands are what should be on for the entertainment at grand finals. They pump up the crowd. Whilst Amy could sing and nothing wrong musically gosh she bored the living daylights out of everyone.

While she had no stage charisma her voice wasnt to bad and it was good to see Andrew Farris and Kirk Pengilley , could have had a bit more INXS but overall not bad at all.
I reckon the environment will have impacted her stage presence - there was probably less than 25% of capacity one at the point she’s on stage, plus throw in the weather, it makes it a very flat and empty atmosphere.
I always think the prerequisite of any pre-match/half time entertainment should be that the tunes have to be well know sing-a-long songs - that’s the only way to make it work and get the atmosphere banging. Unless it’s an absolute anthem, generally I don’t think modern day music works as the vast majority probably haven’t heard of the artist, let alone the song.

Well that surprised me...in a good way. Also nice too see Pengilly and Farriss make an appearance

I mean not that entertaining but otherwise good
