Crappy Grand Final entertainment

Amy Shark was fantastic, but not for this event. Crowd looked like they were watching paint drying. To be fair it was raining.

Get Angus out in his wheelchair next year. Hopefully his retired fingers can still play the riff to Thunderstruck. Let Tina Turner sing the lyrics while Brian Johnson smacks a tambourine.

Considering Tina Turner is 80 years old (turning 81 in November), lives in Switzerland, has pretty much retired from active performing, and has had a number of health issues in recent year (e.g. intestinal cancer in 2016 and kidney transplant in 2017) I very much doubt she'll be coming out to perform at any NRL Grand Final.

What about a duet with Barnesy?

Got it spot on for me.
Decent singer who appeals to the youth and can actualy sing live
RL fan to boot
Brought in some old timers for a well known cover for the old farts, even threw in some Sax for the Gen X's
Lots of sparkly lights and fireworks to brighten the gloomy sydney weather

For the budget they spend on it no complaints from here.

I thought the most entertaining thing was Addo Carr's post game determination to get his gang signal on TV. He really wanted us to know he is in a gang or something. He was popping up like Dicky Knee doing it.

What if I tell you Peter V'landis was in charge of organising the entertainment?

Apparently her husband works for the Titans (or at least used to if he's not still). Heard Graeme Annesley talking about her on the radio the other day. Before she became a "star" I think she used to perform at end of season functions etc...
So did she sing as well?
