LOL, how old are you?
I have never seen the heart and spirit of my club decimated the way it is now
Both Mr Spagnola and Mr Osborne need to resign immediately, What looks like a duck and quacks like a duck is a goddamn duck. One enabled the other BOTH TO BLAME!!!!!!! In 55 yrs of following Parramatta I have never seen the heart and spirit of my club decimated the way it is now. It"s taken these guys 2 yrs. Do us a favour GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let us get on with the job of rebuilding the mess that you have created!!!!!!!!!!!!
What if a ventriliquist has his hand up the duck's back..
This is probably a good case of "Be careful what you pray for, you just might get it"......
If you lie down with dogs, don't blame anyone else if you get fleas......

To be looking at it straight up, the off-field membership drive has seen the clubs membership almost double.
Crowd numbers were the 4th highest in the clubs history last season, and despite a SHOCKING year, were better than Parra's average this season.
Of blokes who had never coached a first grade game, they brought in the most highly regarded coach in the game to build the future around. (Rothfield ranked Kearney as 2nd best coach in the comp in his pre-season assessment).
Our club recorded the 'smallest loss' of any club this year.
They freshened up the Leagues club and introduced a new restaurant.
Then we look at the 'on field' matters.
In 2.5 seasons they've made a grand final and missed the semis twice.
Not content with that as the 'status quo' they've ditched our (hopeless) talent scout and brought in arguably the best in the business.
Then they set about recruiting players - in 2.5 years have ALREADY purchased 3 current state of origin players - 2 of whom have also represented Australia.
They've also addressed the halfback issue by bringing in a young and exciting talent in that area - but not content with just that, have added a former Kiwi International to the mix.
Ok - what has happened in the papers this last week or so has been shambolic - but to say the board has decimated the heart and spirit of the club is beyond idiotic isn't it????
I dunno. I think they're doing a really good job.
I tend to agree with Cookie. I don't want this to be a Fitzy vs Spag fight (again) but the most crap we had to deal with was when Fitzy was in charge was when he'd bad mouth Storm or the like. Towards the end of his tenure he did take up the bat for the clubs re: the pokie tax and did paint a picture of gloom and doom, which if he had his time again he would surely not cast a shadow over his own club's future.
However our darkest days have been since the election to oust him. 3P ran a dirty campaign and told a lot of lies (insolvent club etc) and sadly the controversy has not gone away since then.
No I am not advocating for Fitzy's return nor do i think that we'd be better off if Fitzy wasn't shown the door. We were in need of a change and like Johnny Howard, it was time for Fitzy to go.
Yes there has been a turnaround in finances for the club and the team have done well (in parts) however a cynic might say that the success could be attributed to the passing of the GFC and the rise of Jarryd Hayne, rather than the management of 3P.
Sadly the cowboys we have in charge now give me no confidence that they can turn the reputation of the club around and keep us out of the papers. I am very tired of being the joke team of the NRL TBH.
Gronk the champions in charge give me Great Confidence this club is moving in the Right Direction. Can't wait for the New Facilites of the Leagues club to enjoy and can't wait for SK and PN system working you all be jumping on the Band Wagan.
Thanks for your input Spags.
stop confusing the newbies

I agree with you re: their success with the Leagues club, but there is NO doubt that the board has been a destabilising influence when it comes to the football side of things.
I doubt that.
Thanks for your input Spags.
I doubt your sanity.
:crazy:Yeah no problem. It's when you doubt your own sanity that you're in trouble. It was tongue in cheek BTW but of course it doesn't translate very well in a written post.
Thanks for your input Spags.
