ROOKIE Kangaroo prop Kade Snowden admits he will struggle to say no to Wayne Bennett if Newcastle, as expected, make him an offer to return home next season.
The
Cronulla Sharks yesterday prop broke his silence on one of the season's big controversies after he was rushed into the Australian squad for Friday night's Test against New Zealand.
Kade Snowden will start off the bench after Canberra's
David Shillington was ruled out yesterday with a pectoral injury.
When asked if his ambitions for success at club level could be achieved playing at Cronulla, Snowden replied: "I'm not really sure. It would be more of a chance at Newcastle than at Cronulla.

"I would love to go home just to be around the family and I love Cronulla. So whatever I choose I will be happy. Cronulla have done the right thing by me since I moved here. I hope to get it done by the next couple of weeks. I just want to get it out of the way." I have got an idea but I just don't want to say too much."
Snowden admits he is expecting to meet with Bennett in the coming days to talk about his future with the incoming Knights coach.
"I think we will sit down with him over the next week and talk about a few things," he said.
But before then he has a Test match debut to attend to after the 24-year-old’s dramatic call-up.
Snowden was actually in camp with the Country team in Sydney when coach Laurie Daley broke the news to him at breakfast.
The first call he made was to his folks Chris and Lisa at home in Newcastle.
"I said to Dad I’m just on my way to the Gold Coast and he said I thought it was in Albury?
"And I said no I just got called up for the Australian side.
"They were over the moon."
