25k is very disappointing no matter how you look at it.
A game between 2 of Sydneys biggest crowd drawers, with a bit of a rivalry between each other, on a Sunday afternoon. And the crowd was only 25k. Pathetic.
There would have been 20k dogs fans.
Tigers fans probably thought they would end up getting bashed or something.
I know that is tongue-in-cheek but I haven't been to see a game involving the Dogs for 8 years, thanks to some of their fans...

A great day,A great clash,a great game--deserved more--the withdrawal of Benji would have turned a few away and a very small minority of the Bankstown Broncos supporters turn a few people off but for me the biggest turn off is ANZ stadium, has the atmosphere of rockwood cemetery, just a crappy football venue. Anyway still went to the game and both sides really put on a good match and a draw would have been a fair result but at the end of the day the dogs took their chances and the tigers didnt

The souths game had 23k and looked nowhere near that full. Both sides looked pretty damn full and so did each end behind the posts
each end behind the goal posts looked pretty damn full? Not even close, scattered people at best.
When crowd figure popped up I was suprised it was 25k, looked pretty average on TV.
Good crowd, expected a little more but maybe just cause I was reading this thread.
