I would have guessed 8 - 9k, doesn't seem to have any large corporate areas but the upper grand stands had lots of empty seats and the lower bowl you would have seen on tv was about half full I would say.

Doesn't it hold ~ 22k?

The crowd at the final last year was 26,476 and it has held up to 28,753 For brumbies matches.

The 28K for the super rugby final was only reached with the addition temporary stands. Last years semi final was the ground record of 26,476 as you said.

Some clubs aren't getting favourable scheduling. A Saturday night or Sunday afternoon fixture for this game would've added at least 4 or 5 thousand to that figure.

Hope IC can sort out the crowd problems for certain clubs and certain fixtures.

Some clubs are just pulling some shit crowds.

Canberra and night games in July/august don't mix. The stadium is very open to the elements. 10000 on a freezing Monday night is to be expected. No competent parent would take their kids to a winter night game in Canberra on a school night.

The NRL didn't schedule what day this game was played on or any day any game is played on.

Its not the NRL .. its Fox
the game is given a number from 1 to 8 .. the TV stations have select what games they want & when

blame them
not the NRL .. this will change if the NRL get back the right to choose the schedule
