The AFL argument?
How about you and your fans have shown on this forum to be excuse merchants who only get on your team every 2nd year while being general scum and when shown this you will state to the heavens above "weve won premierships" thinking that the fact you have won a premiership gives you the right to not go to games, act like 12 year olds and complain "ITS SO COLD".
For having less fans than you, sure is surprising that we had a higher attendance average than you. A one team town, who has won premierships.
 raiders fans sure are f**king geniused bandwagon jumpers.

I'm not even sure why Cronulla fans of all people are arguing about Crowds

Your crowds are just as bad.

What's your excuse?

Wait, Sharks fans don't have reasons.

Despite being located in Sydney, the birthplace of league in Australia. Despite be able to take advantage of away support from visiting local teams. Despite being longer established.

lol. Pathetic.

Hurry up and move to Adelaide. Or die. Either or.

Canberra:
Population - 358,222
Average Temp (Jun/Jul/Aug) - 12.3/11.4/13

Newcastle:
Population - 288,732
Average Temp (Jun/Jul/Aug) - 17.5/16.7/18

Given the average temp is about 5 degrees less, but with a larger population, I would suggest you may not get as large as the Knights (simply because of the stadium size), but you should have a fairly high average.

Wind chill factor.

When not taking into consideration the demographic characteristics, the population argument is the dumbest one out there.

What about Storm crowds, in a city of 4+ million?
What about Warriors crowds, in a city of 1.3 million?
Heck what about the Broncos, in a city of 2+ million?

Melbourne regularly sees attendances of 200k+ each week, they're just mostly watching AFL.

Ditto for Warriors - league team in a union town.

Not quite. The Warriors soundly beat the Blues in terms of attendances this year.

Aucklanders are bandwagoners and I think besides a hardcore on both sides of the rugby divide (In which union has a bigger supporter core), most Aucklanders are just as happy rocking up to a Warriors match as they are a Blues match. As long as they are winning.

All these Raiders fans bagging out other teams is absolutely fascinating...

Who's bagging who out?

When attacked, I'll defend my team and town and uncover the truth.

In regards to this week, crowd sales for the Manly game are pathetic and are rightfully bagged.

And we did better than you last year, and the year before that.
Exactly which is why its rich that youve come along with these excuses when everything in canberra was the same as last year and acting like you have the right to have a go at any crowd numbers. So stick to telling sharks fans to go to Adelaide while proclaiming everybody wants us to die.
Different flavors of bullshit from another bandwagoner.

Let's do a recap on the series of events:

- Raiders fan continuously is ribbing on Sydney for their crowds
- Posters point out that Canberra fans are in no position to throw stones.
- Raiders fans say they don't know why Cronulla fans are arguing about Crowds.

Show us one post where a Cronulla fan has said we have great crowds? It is an area our club needs to work on, and will work on. This includes putting in more undercover stand seating at our ground, the development of nearby retail and residential complexes.

You'll find it's one of your own who's started this...One of your own who I swear didn't bother posting on the main board until early last week...

Oh, they're awful yes. Thankyou for that, not like it's something that hasn't been said 1000 times so far on this board...

It isn't the same as last year, that's why they're down, you f**king pillock.

The reasons that I've given are the reasons explaining the Raiders' crowds as a whole, both past and future.

Dumb merkin.

Not good enough I'm afraid. Cronulla should sell as many tickets to a regular season game as the Raiders did to a finals match...Because it gets nippy down in Canberra.

It wasn't explicitly stated that you have great crowds (which you don't), but have a look above where a certain poster boasts that you have higher attendances than us.

Quick everybody its cold in Canberra! Thanks Colonel Excuses we had no idea.

Dry your eyes son.

0 premierships, being poor and being kicked out and belted by the Raiders on the w/e seems to have gotten to you.

You're more rattled than Paul Gallen.

Parra finish 12th in 2010, 14th in 2011 and 16th in 2012 and we still get better crowds then most teams, legendary fans unlike most of these other dopey teams.
