Wow. This is like the moment when there are only two people in a room, and you see the other person knock over a vase, sweep it up, throw it out, and then lie and say it wasn't there when you arrived in the room. Only two people will ever know the truth. I'm amazed that you care about your reputation that much that you'd go to those lengths to lie, but whatever man. If I was going to "fake" quote you, I would have come up with something way more left field than what you wrote. Anyway, you obviously have some issues there to deal with but I'm not getting caught up in them. All the best with it.

Won't get near 30k tonight.

27k is the highest Sharks crowd ever at Suncorp (2010). Only got 24k last year without being Origin effected.

I say it every year, I don't understand it.

It stopped raining this morning, the sun is out and skies are clear.

Having 7 players out doesn't make it any lesser of a match either in my eyes.

And as expected crowd at Lang park. No origin players and, with all due respect to shark fans, although they're passionate there isnt a lot of them compared to other clubs.

So now we're psycho-analysing forummers?

And what "reputation"? I'm arguably one of the least popular people in this place

Well timmah you tell me what happened. I saw your post, pressed quote, replied, and when I checked back your post didn't match what was quoted. So either you changed your post and decided rather than admitting it, you'd lie about it for some reason I'm not aware of, or there was a glitch in the matrix and Jason ryles posted using your user name and then deleted his post.

But whatever. You may be unpopular, but you seem to care about your role on this forum, so if this is really that important to you to lie about, then go for it.

26k for a NRL game is a poor crowd? If only every poor crowd were 26K. 8K is a poor crowd!

It is poor imo when the club has over 3million people in the surrounding areas to attract to the game. Their target for next season should be not to get under 30k (weather permiting) to their games and seriously back to 'almost' selling out the local derby with the cowboys.

I agree but not much will happen to crowd figures until proces at the gate start coming down.

On that matter I have a few mates coming to the tigers and dogs at the SFS I think this will get over 20k maybe even 23k depending on the doggies fan turnout.

This is just too strange to make up so i've no doubt he changed his post (your quote) and blatantly lied about it. It's just something you could see Tim Tam doing

As for the Broncos crowd others mentioned i reckon it was pretty decent all things considered. It's a simplistic and just plain ridiculous argument saying there's 3 million people in the area (how far out are we gong here?) yet totally ignore the fact that there were no origin players playing and to be that naive to think it wouldn't/shouldn't have any affect on the crowd. Not to mention they were playing a team that is one of the lowest drawing teams in their own city let alone playing in another state. But lets not let the truth get in the way of a good story.......
